Happy 30th Birthday...

....50 days later....

I may be a tad bit late celebrating Tim's 30th birthday on our blog, however, better late then never. His birthday was on November 19th and despite only moving here a few months prior, it couldn't have been better if we were back at home. Tim's parents drove the nine hours to spend Tim's birthday with us. They stayed for four fun filled days and even BABYSAT! We actually got to go out for dinner with some of our friends from Tim's class to celebrate his old age. We ate a barrage of sushi and Tim came home with some awesome gifts from his new friends. We were overwhelmed with their appreciation and thought for Tim. Luckily enough, the school went on strike for the two weekdays Tim's parents were here. Crazy perfect timing. We had an amazingly fabulous birthday dinner at our place to celebrate Tim. Hank and Joan bought all of us lobster, steak and all the works that go along with it. We drank Granville Island (yum) beer and ate some amazing food. I'm still not sure how I feel about killing four crustaceans in my kitchen, but it was a once in 10 years sort of thing. Most importantly, Tim loved it!
