Naked in New Denver

Camping Hoehn style = 7 people on a dingy singing kumbaya, modern family, running from bears (or if you are Karl, running towards bears), scavenger hunting, Risk, some seriously good food and full grown adults spying, giggling and running away from all the naked's sauntering around the town of New Denver.
We had such a good week spending some valuable time with our family before our big move to Cranbrook. Jaeger loves being outdoors so he was in his glory being outside 90% of the day. My parents and Aunt and Uncle went to a lot of work planning all the food, bringing most of it up and arranging pretty much everything. We all took turns making dinner each night, as well as cleaning up, which worked out great and felt very relaxing.
One of the highlights of the trip was the scavenger hunt my Auntie Tina set up for all of us. We were divided into four teams and sent off into the little town with 30 mystery items to locate. We had 45 minutes. Justin and I were on a team, we had high hopes of winning, but unfortunately we came in last. If there had been no time limit we would have still been searching at midnight. In theory we make a good team, but in reality we were very inefficient. While we managed to sprint the bulk of the 45 minutes, Tim and Karl beat us by 4 points by only walking. Embarrassing. Too prove we found each item we had to take a photo with it. Everyone said Justin and I won for best photographic skills. Here are some photos of our wonderful New Denver vacay!
